Farmhouse Ziffy Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Farmhouse Cornbread Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup plain yogurt
  • 1/4 cup canola oil
  • 1/4 cup honey, optional

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425 F.

  2. Put butter in an iron skillet or square baking pan and set in the oven while it heating. Put the 2 cups of Cornbread Mix into a bowl. Make a well in the center of your bowl of mix.

  3. In another bowl whisk together the wet ingredients. As SOON AS the oven gets hot, remove the skillet and brush melted butter around to cover pan or skillet.

  4. Pour any excess into the wet ingredients. Quickly mix wet and dry ingredients together and pour into buttered skillet and bake in the middle of oven until golden brown.(about 20-25 min)
