Roasted Whole Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1 whole roasting chicken
  • 1 lemon
  • poultry seasoning
  • dried rosemary
  • olive oil
  • salt

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 425.

  2. Remove giblets, rub all surfaces of chicken with olive oil.

  3. Shake salt, poultry seasoning, and rosemary generously all over surface of chicken and inside.

  4. Slice up the lemon and put the slices inside the chicken.

  5. Put on rack in roasting pan.

  6. Reduce oven heat to 350.

  7. Roast for about 21 minutes per pound.
