Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter, Room Temperature
  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 3/4 Cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 3 3/4 Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg

  • SUGAR COATING:
  • 1/2 Cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger
  • Dash of Allspice
  • Preheat oven to 350F.

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Beat the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Add the pumpkin puree, egg, and vanilla. Mix until combined.

  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet, a little at a time, and beat until well mixed. You may need to knead the last bit.
