Tater Tot Casserole with Ground Beef

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of celery soup (or cream of mushroom)
  • frozen tater tots
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Brown ground beef along with onion. Add a little garlic powder or fresh garlic. Drain if necessary.

  3. In a casserole dish, combine ground beef mixture with the soup.

  4. Top mixture with tater tots.

  5. Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Add grated cheese to the top. Continue baking for another 10 minutes until tater tots are cooked through.
