Paav Bhaaji Masala Powder

Ingredients

  • Black peppercorns – 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cloves – 25
  • Dried red chili – 12 (use kashmiri for bright red color)
  • Cumin seeds – 2 tablespoons
  • Coriander seeds – 2 1/2 tablespoons
  • Fennel seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Cinnamon sticks – 6 (1 inch size)
  • Black cardamom – 1
  • Bay leaves – 2
  • Curry leaves – 6-8
  • Black salt – 1/4 teaspoon
  • Amchur powder (Dried mango powder) – 2 teaspoons

Directions

  1. Dry roast all ingredients except for amchur and Black salt. colour should not get changed. powder them and add the amchur/black salt. Use it for preparing Paav bhaaji
