Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour, preferably pastry, whole wheat, or white)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1.1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 T. ( or more)cup vegetable shortening or grapeseed oil
  • 3/4 cup warm water (may possibly need to add more, up to 3/4 cup) or 1⁄2 cup milk (may possibly need to add more, up to 3/4 cup)
