Really cheesy lasagna

Vegetarian lasagna with entirely too much cheese.

Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 45 minutes
Serves 6 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 1 lb whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 9 strips whole wheat lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz spaghetti sauce

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Cook lasagna noodles as directed on package.

  3. Grate mozzarella and set aside.

  4. Assemble the lasagna in layers in a lasagna-sized casserole dish as follows:

  5. thin layer of spaghetti sauce

  6. 3 lasagna noodles

  7. half the ricotta cheese

  8. a few spoonfuls of spaghetti sauce

  9. 3 noodles

  10. the other half of the ricotta

  11. a few spoonfuls of spaghetti sauce

  12. half the shredded mozzarella

  13. 3 noodles

  14. the rest of the spaghetti sauce

  15. the rest of the mozzarella

  16. sprinkle on the shredded parmesan

  17. bake 45 minutes or until the lasagna is bubbling vigorously
