Puliyogare

Ingredients

  • 15 medium piece tamarind
  • 15 red chillies
  • little vendhayam
  • 3spoon dhaniya
  • 1 verali manjal
  • 1 big piece asafaetida
  • Gingely oil

Directions

  1. dry fry vendhayam and turmeric

  2. little oil fry 7 chillies and Dhaniya

  3. Oil fry asfaetida

  4. Powder 1 and 3 together

  5. Powder 2 separately

  6. splutter in oil in the same order mustard, remaining 8 chilles and add tamarind concentrate. do not dilute

  7. Boil until it thickens well

  8. Add fried K.paruppu, U.paruppu, curry leaves, peanut to nicely thicken pulp

  9. Add the powder 2 and cook for couple of minutes

  10. Switch off the flame and add powder 4 and mix well.
