Baked Egg rolls

Serves 8 people

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. ground turkey or chicken
  • garlic powder
  • 1 package cole slaw mix (shredded cabbage, etc)
  • 1 can water chestnuts
  • 1 bunch green onions, chopped
  • 1 can mushrooms
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 T corn starch

Directions

  1. Cook turkey in a skillet.

  2. Season with garlic powder.

  3. When completely cooked, add soy sauce, cornstarch, cabbage and carrot mix, water chestnuts, onions adnd mushrooms.

  4. Stir fry until cabbage becomes somewhat soft.

  5. Remove from heat.

  6. Spoon into egg roll wrappers.

  7. Fold according to directions ont he package.

  8. Bake at 450 for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.

  9. Serve with sweet and sour sauce.
