Savory Herb and Vanilla Bean Butter

  • 2 sticks unsalted butter, at room temp
  • 2 tbsp. each chopped fresh marjoram, rosemary and savory leaves
  • 1/2 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
  • 3/4 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper


  1. In a food processor, pulse the butter and herbs. Scrape in the seeds from the vanilla bean. Add the kosher salt and pepper and pulse just until blended, about 20 pulses. Spoon a few tablespoonfuls onto the sliced steak.
