Theresa’s Grandma’s Apple Cake

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup coarsely chopped pecans
- 1 can apple pie filling, coarsely chopped
- 2 eggs
- Glaze--
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- lemon juice to thin to make glaze
Directions

Set oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour 9 × 13 inch pan.

Sift together the flour, sugar, salt, taking soda and cinnamon.

Add melted butter, vegetable oil and vanilla. Mix well.

Stir in pecans, apple pie filling and eggs. Combine well. Bake 50 minutes or until done.

Glaze— Mix together powdered sugar and lemon juice. Spread over warm cake! Delish!
