Bessie’s Beet Relish

Ingredients

  • 1 c. vinegar (dark)
  • 1 c. water
  • 2 qts. cooked beets, chopped fine
  • 1/2 c. horseradish
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Heat vinegar and water to boil. Pour over remaining ingredients.
  2. Seal in hot sterile jars.
