Sue’s Seafood Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 slice buttered bread (quartered)
  • 1 1/4 c. milk
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese (cut in 8 pieces)
  • 1/4 lb. processed American cheese (cubed)
  • 1/2 c. onions (diced)
  • 1/2 c. parsley clusters
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. mace
  • 6 oz wide noodles (cooked and drained)
  • 3 c. cooked or canned seafood (lobster or shrimp)

Directions

  1. Fresh shrimp should be in water. Bring to a boil until shrimp starts to turn pink. Do not overcook.

  2. Combine bread, milk, cream cheese, cheese (velvetta), onion, parsley, salt, mace and blend in blender until smooth.

  3. Grease 2 qtr. casserole.

  4. Put 1/2 noodles in. Cover with 1/2 seafood then add 1/2 sauce, then repeat.

  5. Put buttered crumbs or cracker crumbs on top.

  6. Bake 40 minutes in 350 degree oven.
