GAPS Beef Broth w/Real Cream

Ingredients

  • Heat 12 – 16 oz. of unsalted beef broth
  • scant 1/2 tsp. of mineral salt
  • 2 tsp. each red wine and cognac
  • 2 Tbsp. organic (raw if possible) heavy cream
  • or 3 Tbsp. of half-n-half

Directions

  1. Heat broth to a light simmer, turn the heat off

  2. if electric, or lower to lowest setting if gas heat.

  3. Stir in the wine, cognac, and salt.

  4. Allow to sit without a lid for 5 minutes so the

  5. alcohol can evaporate. Stir once or twice.

  6. Pour into a large mug.

  7. Stir in heavy cream or half-n-half.
