Pepper Chicken II

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. Chicken, skinless bone-in 2" pieces
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. Black Pepper, ground
  • 1 tsp. Turmeric, ground
  • 3 Onions, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. Oil
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Heat oil in pot over medium heat. Add Onion and roast until translucent.

  2. Add chicken, turmeric and salt. Cover and cook for 5 min, until broth lets out.

  3. Add 2 cups water and black pepper. Cover over low heat until chicken is cooked thru. If necessary, open and allow gravy to thicken to desired consistency.
