Stacy’s Mexican Taco Pinwheels

(from cokerlj’s recipe box)

Arrange on a platter with a bowl of picante sauce in the center for extra dipping.
Everyone loves these and they are so easy!
I did not list the amounts because it will depend upon how much you want to make. I usually start with 3 blocks cream cheese adding picante sauce until it tastes right and is a good spreading consistency.

Ingredients

  • cream cheese
  • picante sauce
  • soft flour tortillas
  • Tabasco sauce

Directions

  1. Combine cream cheese and picante sauce, adding picante sauce until desired spreading consistency is reached. It will take more than you think!

  2. Add Tabasco sauce to desired “hotness”.

  3. Spread on soft flour tortillas. Roll up jellyroll style, being careful not to leave air pockets. You will figure out as you go just how much of the filling you will need for each one.

  4. Place in zip lock bag, chill overnight. These will keep a couple of weeks in the refrigerator.

  5. Slice into circles about 1/2 inch thick and arrange, stacking if needed, on serving platter around a bowl of picante sauce for extra dipping.
