Spanish Pork Chops

Serve with rice and spoon sauce over rice. This is very good and different.

Ingredients

  • 6 pork chops
  • 6 tablespoons flour
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 3 tablespoons paprika
  • 3 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • 1 6 ounce can V-8 juice
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons ketchup
  • dash Tabasco sauce
  • vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Combine flour, salt, paprika and dry mustard. Rub mixture into pork chops.

  2. Brown chops in heavy skillet over medium heat in small amount of oil.

  3. Slice onion over chops.

  4. Combine Worcestershire, canned tomatoes, V-8 juice, sugar, ketchup and Tabasco; pour over onion and chops.

  5. Cover and cook over low heat for 40 minutes or until chops are tender.
