Cranberry Cream Pie

I’ve made this once. It’s not bad but a lot of trouble.

Ingredients

  • CRUST:
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1 cup ground walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon water

  • FILLING:
  • 3 ounce package raspberry jello
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 can whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • -
  • TOPPING:
  • 4 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 24 small marshmallows
  • 1/4 cup sugar

Directions

  1. CRUST: Mix dry ingredients in a 9 inch glass pie plate.

  2. Add oil and water.

  3. Mix well and press around sides.

  4. Bake at 357 degrees for 12 minutes. Cool.

  5. FILLING: Dissolve jello in hot water and refrigerate until it starts to thicken.

  6. Stir in cranberry sauce and sour cream.

  7. Pour into cool pie shell.

  8. Chill until firm.

  9. TOPPING: Soften cream cheese, slowly add whipping cream, stir until blended.

  10. Stir in marshmallows and sugar.

  11. Chill 4 hours.

  16. Whip mixture with electric beater until thick.

  17. Spread over pie before serving.
