Ingredients

  • Potatoes, Russet, as many as you need to feed your family.
  • Water
  • 2 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Peel and slice potatoes thin about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Some thinner, some thicker.

  2. Place in sauce pan and just barely cover with water.

  3. Season water/potatoes with salt.

  4. Very thinly slice 2 cloves of garlic and toss in to the potatoes.

  5. Bring to a boil and simmer until potatoes are done. You want to watch closely. You want the water to boil out about the same time the potatoes are done. The thinner potatoes will start to get mushy. Overall you should have the consistency of a thinner lumpy mashed potato.

  6. Remove from stove, you can add a little fresh parsley if you want…also pepper if you want.

  7. Serve.
