Alfredo/Red Sauce Combo aka “Pink Sauce”

Haven’t tried…sounds like a good “Pink” sauce that my daughter would like

  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 8 tablespoons cream cheese
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • salt
  • white pepper
  • 1 24 ounce can spaghetti sauce
  • 1 15 ounce can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 1/2 cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese
  • Pasta or Ravioli or Tortellini


  1. Melt butter. Add cream cheese, small pieces at a time, stirring until softened and melted in with butter.

  2. Mix in heavy cream, spices, spaghetti sauce, and crushed tomatoes.

  3. Bring to a low, gentle simmer and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  4. Stir in parmesan cheese until blended/melted in.

  5. Remove from heat and serve on pasta of your choice. You could add some of the ravioli or tortellini from your grocery either fresh or frozen.
