Herbed Turkey Breast With Orange Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion , chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves , smashed
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 -3 pounds skinless boneless turkey breasts
  • 1 1/2 cups orange juice

Directions

  1. Place onions in crock pot or dutch oven suitable for oven.

  2. Mix garlic, rosemary and pepper in a small bowl; set aside.

  3. Make slices in turkey breast about 3/4 of the way through turkey breast at 2 inch intervals.

  4. Stuff slices with herb mixture.

  5. Place turkey in crock pot or dutch oven. Pour juice over turkey.

  6. If using dutch oven, cover and place in oven set at 350 degrees, cook until turkey is done, check with meat thermometer after 1 hour, then every 30 minutes until it reaches 170 to 177 degrees.

  7. If using crock pot, cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours or until turkey is no longer pink in center, refer to temp above.
