“Italian” Sausage and Peppers

  • 1-1/2 lbs Italian sausage or smoked sausage
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/2 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • minced garlic
  • 1.5 cup spaghetti sauce
  • shredded Mozzarella cheese


  1. Slice sausage and cook in oil over med-high heat

  2. When sausage is half-way cooked, add onions and peppers

  3. Sprinkle with garlic and cook thoroughly

  4. Stir in spaghetti sauce and heat through; top with mozzarella
