Smoked Sausage Primavera

Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 - 12oz bag frozen broccoli cuts
  • 1/2 - 12oz bag frozen pepper/onion mix
  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 small can (5 oz) evaporated milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. Cook spaghetti according to package directions in a large dutch oven; add in vegetables during the last 4 min of cooking time

  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, bring sausage and water to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 7-8 min

  3. Add milk, butter, and Italian seasoning to sausage; cook and stir until butter is melted

  4. Drain spaghetti and vegetables; return to pan

  5. Pour sausage mixture over spaghetti and top with parmesan cheese
